Shopping w/Mike

Ok, my girlfriend just sent this to me and cracked me up as this is what I do to Mike every weekend ...

What is really should say is, Time: 3 hrs 26 min; Cost: $876; Purchased No Pants.

Professor Michael

On recommendation of one of Michael's graduate professsors, Michael has been contacted by his graduate school to teach an evening course on Finance as an Adjunct Professor. His company has given him approval to the time necessary to teach the course as well. So effective this fall semester, Michael will become 'Professor Perednis'.

This is especially cool as Michael has spoken time and time again about wanting to become a college professor after retirement. No, he's not retiring, but I don't think he ever would have expected to have this opportunity now and from an Accredited graduate school!

Way to go Babe, I'm proud of you!!!

March ... Spring Time

So is it Spring or isn't it ... One day it's 60 degrees and another day the wind chill is -1 and then snowing ... and again, we're back to 60 degrees. I find this time of year so difficult to push forward. I am so ready for solid, warm weather! At least it has been nice on my long runs.

Oh, that's right, I have not been updating everyone on the status of my half marathon ... well, I finished a 9 mile run last week and tomorrow is to be a 10 mile run. That will exceed the farthest I have ever run at one time. The half marathon is next Saturday (13.1 miles) ... they say the adrenaline with get you through the final 3.1 miles. We will see about that! I am hoping Bethany and Enigma will get me through it.

Michael has been strongly threatened by myself, Dave and others that he had better take professional style pictures of us completing this run. You will notice I am using the term 'completing' not 'winning'. My goal is just to make it to make it to finish line.
